Your key responsibilities
• Establishes and executes the overall strategy for third party providers for Facilities Services in line with the global supplier strategy.
• Drives the supplier selection process in conjunction with Procurement in alignment with the global supplier strategy, including co-leading global contract negotiations as well as on-going management of contracts.
• Builds and manages relationships with third parties that supply services and works to ensure that third parties meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality products and services on time.
• Develops and oversees implementation of any expansion of service scope.
• Monitors delivery reliability, quality and accuracy, ensuring savings and delivery goals of agreements are delivered, including the establishment of OPIs KPIs, periodic third party assessments, analysis of contract deliverables, and drives execution of these on an ongoing basis (e.g. renegotiation of SLAs).
• Attends regular meetings to understand service delivery issues and insights on business needs, and executes corrective actions, continuous improvement initiatives and remediation plans in conjunction with the third party providers to a high standard.
• Ensures third parties are kept up-to-date on developments across Novartis and/or market conditions ensuring they have the necessary plans in place to deliver on savings commitment and targets. Provides input to the development of the budget including providing reporting and forecasting on use of third parties.

Minimum Requirements

What you will bring to the role
• University Degree in Engineering/Finance. MBA desirable.
• 10-15 years of experience in similar professional roles.
• Understanding of regulatory knowledge as related to Pharma industry operations.
• Experience in Business Process Outsourcing/services industry and in managing facilities services vendors is beneficial.
• Direct experience leading teams in a global environment and excellent management track-record.
• Experience of commercial and contract management, working in a customer service / customer delivery environment, managing third party service delivery performance and negotiation and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders experiences.
• Fluent in English - Written and spoken.
