5! The number of New Molecular Entities (NMEs) approvals of potential blockbusters, which Novartis obtained in 2019 alone. We advanced a breath of early programs in our pipeline that addresses significant unmet needs and are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Statistical Programmers with expertise in SDTMs, ADaMs & TFLs, and experience in Regulatory Submissions. As a part of the Statistical Programming unit, you will play a key role in supporting a growing pipeline across multiple therapeutic areas, with emphasis on regulatory submissions. An excellent opportunity to work end-to-end programming from CRF collections through Regulatory submission, you will have an exciting opportunity to learn new technologies (like R) and endorse Statistical Programming as a key contributor in driving the #GO-Digital vision of Novartis.

Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Lead the Data Integration projects with the help of support programmers and coordinate with internal Biostatistics, Data Science, and AI InnovationLabs, with external stakeholders and vendors
•Manage stakeholder expectations
•Ensure overall quality of the DI deliverables with compliance to the Novartis processes.
•Provide timely updates on the DI projects to the leadership team.
•Identify and escalate activity/tasks conflict ahead of time, including resource gap.
•Update status of the projects in the project management system.
•Able to lead significant cross-functional process improvement and Non-Clinical Project initiatives.


Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
•Innovative technical solutions to support timely and efficient drug development deliverables
•Timely, high quality and efficiently produced statistical programming deliverables included in regulatory submissions, publications and marketing promotions
•Ability to work well with others globally (e.g. US, EU, India)
•Good communications and negotiation skills
• Pooling experience using Data integration tool or pooling strategy in handling mega pools.
• Advance SAS, Unix programming skills, and basic R skills
•Fluent English (oral and written).

Desirable requirements:
• Experience working as a project programmer (Senior Principal) / as a Trial Programmer (Principal).
• Minimum requirement for years of experience in programming role preferably supporting clinical trials/or in pharmaceutical industry:
Principal: 5+ years,
Senior Principal : 7+ years
