AS&T Specialist

How would you like to be a part of a brand new team and project at one of the biggest names in the pharmaceutical world?

As AS&T Specialist at Novartis, you will be responsible for participating in our latest project in our brand new laboratory.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Coordinating and managing analytical equipment related activities as well as providing scientific analytical support. This includes the evaluation, development and validation of methods required for raw materials and finished products
• Performing qualitative and quantitative analyses of organic and inorganic compounds to determine the identity, purity and homogeneity of drug substances and products related to each project
• Organising and interpreting all data obtained using a wide variety of instrumental technologies
• Ensuring there are no delays in registration and APR/PQR with flawless stability study design
• Ensuring there are no critical delays in starting the study – approved protocol available on time, prompt storage of stability samples
• Writing and uploading Stability Study reports and evaluation documents on time
• Providing proper support for method transfer activities and other transfer projects
• Ensuring the timely evaluation and communication of transport temperature excursions

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Bachelors/MSc in Chemistry or similar subject
• At least 2 - 3 years of experience in the development of HPLC methods of pharmaceutical products.
• Strong technical & scientific knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, chemical analytics, Quality Control or equivalent area
• Previous experience in laboratory and laboratory equipment essential
• Strong knowledge of IT applications and tools
• Strong knowledge of TQM and related industry GxP standards and processes
• Professional level of English – written and spoken
