100. That’s the number of General Practitioners the role will target in our Brisbane North territory. As part of Novartis’ Cardio Metabolic team in the Pharma Business, this is a phenomenal opportunity to make a real difference to patients living with heart failure. For the right candidate, we would consider part-time or full-time options.

We have plenty of amazing, experienced Pharma Sales Rep’s in our business – so, we are looking for someone with a diverse background to bring their own skills and experience to this role. A rookie, an experienced sales professional in another industry or someone passionate on transitioning from a clinical or health role across to commercial – we are looking for someone with core attributes such as learning agility, self-motivation, desire to succeed as a team rather than only individually, who can see their territory as their own mini-business within an organisation. If you have a strategic mindset, are keen to truly innovate and make a difference in the lives of others, want to work in a large, collaborative team, then we want to hear from you!

The role will represent Novartis and promote its products to Medical Practitioners and allied health care professionals within a designated territory to achieve sales targets.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Responsibility for maximizing sales of designated company products in the assigned Brisbane North territory, this will be achieved through full coverage of target customers
• Deliver persuasive sales presentations in order to change prescribing habits in line with appropriate use of products
• High level of quality of service and personal interaction
• Maintain and improve knowledge of products, company developments, customers, and competitors
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all territory reports, maintenance of territory records, handling of enquiries and complaints quickly and professionally
• Contribute positively to the Sales and Marketing team through co-operative relationships and collaborative efforts to achieve team and company objectives
• Ensure the timely reporting of adverse events in accordance with company procedures

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Passionate and enthusiastic rookie or a sales professional keen to break into the pharma industry
• Excellent communication and partnering skills will be essential to have, with the ability to impart knowledge to others
• Positive mind set, a great team player with proven interpersonal skills to develop relationships
• An analytical thinker, you can devise a territory strategy based on the big picture, then break that down into short-term goals and actions
• Demonstrated learning agility – able to pick up concepts and new information quickly
