We are now seeking a highly energised and passionate individual to join the team as a Community Account Manager, and help continue in our mission to reimagine medicine.

The purpose of this role is to implement and execute business plans to meet sales goals for assigned primary care territory and to increase market share. You would develop effective business relationships with customers that support delivery of business results. The customer base includes GPs, Practice Nurses, Practice Based Pharmacists, Retail Pharmacists, Practice Managers and Primary care business managers.

This is a field-based role working on territory covering Suffolk and North East Essex STP.

Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Executes account plans for assigned product lines/brands, customers or therapeutic area; uncovers and develops new business opportunities.
• Develops and applies understanding of customer organisations and networks and of diverse influences that affect customer decisions (e.g. peer relationships); Develops business/clinical customer relationships across Primary care by implementing the broader account plan.
• Adapts and optimises approach and communications style during sales calls, responding appropriately to customer needs, making effective use of available technologies and channels.
• Develops deep specialist product and disease state knowledge in a specific therapeutic area and uses this to build professional customer relationships and support sound clinical discussions
• Ensures that Novartis products and supporting services are broadly understood and available to more patients and customers.

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical industry within Primary Care.
• Established Network within the territory to target Customer Group.

Desirable requirements:

• Experience in Cardiology.
