We are looking for a Reimbursement Strategy Manager who is passionate about making a difference and who will help Novartis Oncology reimagine the way oncology treatments are accessible for Canadian patients. As part of the Health Policy and Patient Access team (HPPA), you will lead the development of the reimbursement and negotiation strategies for Novartis Oncology.

Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Lead and execute the strategic planning process to develop an integrated market access strategy that enables the funding of oncology treatments into the Canadian public and private health systems, including:
• Development of innovative pricing and risk sharing agreements, data generation plan, and market access solution tools for field managers
• Lead the development of the Canadian pricing strategy in collaboration with the Canadian, Regional, and Global Pricing, Health Economic team, and Reimbursement teams, as well as with the relevant Oncology Leadership Team members.
• Participate as a brand and clinical expert in payers meetings organized by Health Policy Field Team where required, in Health and Technology Assessment (HTA) meetings and payer negotiations.

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• University degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, and Economics. Graduate degree in Business or Life Sciences is an asset
• 5 to 10years of experience or relevant experience in in the pharmaceutical industry with a minimum of 5 years in Oncology policy/reimbursement field and or strategy and brand management
• Foundational experience of Health Policy, Evidence Generation, and Pricing & Reimbursement, as well as expertise in access in specialty and rare disease environment.
• Pharmaceutical brand management experience is a strong asset.
• Leadership without direct authority to influence and motivate cross-functional teams, and network effectively within an organization.
• English proficiency and French is a major asset. Excellent written/verbal skill.
