Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• The Regional Lead, SoC Account Management reports directly to the National Lead, SoC Account Management
• Responsible for Systems of Care Account Management Regional team, creating strategic initiatives, providing leadership, and driving business impact. Support the Regional KAM team in achieving their business objectives by ensuring proper training, setting performance goals, and contributing to the overall key account strategy. Collaborate closely with internal Novartis stakeholders (including Re-gional Sales, SAM Marketing) and serve as a connection between headquarters and the KAM field team

• Contribute to B2B selling for a select set of high priority SoCs in each Region; attend customer meetings to build key relationships and provide in-person coaching/training for SAMs
• Understand and monitor the priorities of key customer contacts and manage cus-tomer expectations
• Lead the Regional SoC Account Management team to ensure success of the CV portfolio in key provider systems
• Communicate knowledge from accounts to National Lead to enhance strategy, busi-ness planning and tactical execution
• Set overall strategic goals across the Regional SoCs, balancing national and regional priorities through execution, collaboration, and alignment with the CV BU
• Is a strategic thought partner to the National Lead for insights generation and evolution of KAM model
• Ensure Regional KAM teams are properly trained and equipped with the necessary strategic business planning skills to fully understand customer needs and meet those needs, adhering to Novartis ethics and compliance standards
• Navigate the matrix environment effectively to ensure that Regional KAM account teams have the resources and support required for success
• Acts as conduit between the National Lead, Headquarters, and the Regional KAM team

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

Desirable Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial pharmaceutical sales management
• 3+ years of account management experience
• First line manager experience preferred with demonstrated peer leadership abilities and demonstrated team leadership
• Must have a high degree of understanding of the CV community in general and a working knowledge of Cardiovascular products is preferred
• Proven ability to establish and maintain key customer relationships
• Is proficient at uncovering customer based insights and leveraging this knowledge to develop regional programs
• Ability to manage multiple task and adapt to situations
• Proven financial and analytical skills to understand key drivers of local business performance, market opportunities, and financial implications of business decisions
• Demonstrated understanding of IDNs, Systems and advanced delivery models
• Strong understanding of the US access and reimbursement dynamics
• Proficient in emerging Population Health trends
