Your opportunity to drive marketing efforts to maximize access by proactively assessing and developing tactics for Novartis brands to effectively overcome barriers to reimbursement & access; in this role you will support key brands in the Neuroscience Franchise grossing over $2.7 bn.

The Associate Director, Account Marketing – Field Reimbursement Marketing will execute on the PSS strategy for the brand, by developing tactics and resources to support patient access to our products. They will collaborate closely with the Patient & Specialty Services, Account Marketing and Brand teams.

This position has 2 distinct responsibilities:
1. Supports PSS Strategy through the development and execution of tactics and resources:
o Align with PSS & brand strategies to develop tools necessary for our Field Teams to help eliminate coverage barriers for patients.
o Ensure alignment of PSS and Brand on Field Reimbursement tactics, including “sign-off” of concept, develop content and submission of materials in eMAP and rollout/communication plan of tactics to field
o Identify “template resources” that can be expanded to franchise / brand; identify new potential templates that can be used by majority of brands
o Coordinate with PSS on copay and dashboard development and monitoring
2. Lead Pull-Through efforts:
o Work closely with the Account Marketing counterpart to lead Pull-Through process portion for Field Reimbursement
 Develop communication to FRM/ARMs, trigger announcements
 Create and maintain Pull-Through templates and population of templates
 Ensure feedback loop in place
o Provide training on Pull-Through Process, Feedback loop, etc.

What you will need to be successful:
• Reimbursement and Patient Mindset:
o Understanding of overall patient journey, coverage & reimbursement, billing and coding and support programs
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Collaboration is key in this role; you will be working closely with PSS, Account Markettng and Brand. You will lead the implementation of the PSS Field Reimbursement strategy through various marketing tactics and programs. You will work closely with the Ac-count Marketing functions to ensure tactics and Pull-Through are linked and maximized.
• Proactive and Anticipate
o Identify proactive solutions to propose to Account Marketing, PSS and Brand teams
o Proactively connect various stakeholders to ensure open communication and path-ways
o Anticipate hurdles and barriers, and provide ideas and solutions
• Process Oriented
o In leading the CoE, you will need to understand the details of the campaigns conceptu-alized and implemented by your colleagues, be able to look for opportunities to share and leverage best practices and to align on potential improvements.
o This role is a roll-up your sleeves role, understanding and adding value to the brands and segments that you will support. Identifying over-arching programs, tactics and process that can span the enterprise.

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree required (MBA preferred)
• 4+ years of relevant Pharmaceutical experience (e.g., Market Access, field reimbursement, sales training, commercial or patient services)
• 3+ Years of Customer Marketing, Patient Marketing and/or In-line marketing in Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Healthcare experience preferred
