51 countries! These are the number of countries HEOR HQ works with, to lead a successful Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy, to gain access of the Novartis Onco-Hematology pipeline portfolio across Europe

The Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) Manager Oncology Region Europe (ORE) is the key contact for HEOR related topics in ORE. You will act as the HEOR representative for 51 countries while acting as a business partner and connection point to various other Novartis business units.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of the HEOR Region Europe (RE) strategy with the countries, consolidating regional input and customizing global HEOR approach to the European market
• Customize the global HEOR strategy to the regional HEOR needs (Health Economics models, Evidence gap analysis: clinical & economic) defining and developing specific regional evidence
• Educate and support countries in customizing global Economic Models and other Economic Tools
• Works with Pricing ORE HQ in order to assure the HEOR strategy capture the price strategy defined for the Onco-Hematology pipeline portfolio
• Is key in the development of the Value-Based-Pricing (with special focus on models as Affordability tools/Outcome Based Models) working close with the countries Market and the ORE HQ Access Directors and ORE HQ Pricing

Minimum requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• University degree in Science or Economics and Health Economics postgraduate studies (PhD, Master)
• Desirable: Project Management, Health English Business experience, Market Access, HEOR (Others: R&D, Medical). Other: Pharma / Biotech or relevant consultancy experience
• At least 5 years conducting health economic and outcomes research for pharmaceutical products in the pharma industry or experience in a closely related discipline within the pharma industry (e.g., clinical development, commercial, pricing) or with a contract research organization
• Significant commercial understanding
• Good understanding of HC and P&R systems, specific HTA requirements in Europe, policies and national healthcare environments in RE
• Experience in economic and financial modelling, in use and maintenance of databases and preparation of reports
