Job Description

Responsible for shaping a positive environment in Slovakia for Novartis Oncology pipeline products, achieving good pricing and reimbursement outcomes for the existing portfolio, and helping Novartis Oncology better serve physicians and patients. Prepare the environment for success of new products and indications by effective interface with the national Categorization Committee, preparation and submission of value dossiers, and communication with key influencers on pricing and reimbursement.
Coordinate closely with Head of Market Access Oncology as well as other internal Novartis stakeholders to shape a positive environment for Novartis Oncology products and pipeline.
Ensure submission of compelling value dossiers for oncology products, leading to favorable categorization and reimbursement results.
Seek and develop innovative ways of identifying and demonstrating value of Novartis Oncology products to patients, physicians, and payers.
Conduct pre-launch marketing activities for pipelines products and new indications through own efforts as well as close cooperation with medical, marketing, and sales teams.
Understand changes in the Slovak healthcare system, and ensure that the Oncology Division is prepared to shape or react to these changes.
Monitor and anticipate market access-related activities by competitors, and advise the Oncology General Manager on appropriate response.
Collaborate with external groups, especially patients and physicians, to address unmet needs in delivery of medical and improve patients’ access to the best medicines.
Adhere to the highest ethical standards, including compliance with Slovak law and Novartis Code of Conduct and Corporate Citizenship standards Drug Safety and pharmacoviligance.

Minimum monthly base salary in gross: 2370 Eur - the final amount depends on the candidate's profile.

Minimum requirements

University degree in: medicine (MD) or pharmacy (PharmD) or economics or law.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, in English and Slovak
3-5 years relevant work experience in Slovak pharmaceutical industry in market access, marketing or sales roles; or similar length experience in medical insurance industry or Ministry of Health
