The Oncology Department is seeking a creative and highly motivated PhD scientist to join the Innovative Targets & Technologies (IT&T) group to help discover the next wave of novel therapeutic targets for cancer patients.

The goal of our group is to create and utilize cutting edge technologies, innovative screening approaches and deep mechanistic studies to discover novel therapeutic targets that will ultimately benefit cancer patients. Our team represents the first step in the quest to bring new medicines to oncology patients.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of high-caliber laboratory research. We are searching for an investigator passionate about asking fundamental cancer biology questions through genetic screening and subsequent in depth validation. This position will require outstanding technical ability at the bench as well as a proven ability to effectively manage team and/or collaborative interactions.

Minimum requirements

Desirable Requirements:
•The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology or related field
•A minimum of 3-5 years of industry or academic relevant research experience.
•Significant experience and knowledge in standard and advanced laboratory assays and techniques.
•This position involves multiple collaborative projects so strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
