10! The number of dedicated Medical Colleagues in the Nordics supporting healthcare professionals, patients and caregivers with information about Novartis’ Cardio, Renal and Metabolic products.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• In collaboration with the cross-functional team, lead appropriate identification, mapping and engagement of Medical Experts and study investigators
• Provide and discuss medical, scientific and healthcare and outcome research evidence on new treatment options, Novartis compounds, products, therapeutic and research areas with HCPs and relevant stakeholders involved in patient treatment
• Involve HCPs when a need is identified to provide support/ advice/ participate in specific medical and scientific activities e.g. advisory boards, education of health care providers, publications, etc.
• Provide scientific education and share information about Novartis clinical research program to identify potential study sites and support study accrual for key trials as appropriate. Scientific Exchange/ Insights
• Support scientific exchange to advance understanding of new scientific principles, novel re-search trends, and current scientific debate
• Collect, analyze and report insights from HCPs to inform and shape medical strategy
• Build relationships with relevant medical societies, associations and health care institutions
• Implement scientific projects according to global, regional or local medical strategies. Including RWE projects, but not limited to. Internal Novartis Contributions
• Provide expert disease area and product training to Novartis field colleagues (e.g. new MSLs, sales reps, CRAs) and support coaching and mentoring of MSLs as assigned by manager.

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• MD, PharmD, pharmacist, PhD and other life sciences with solid medical / technical background
• Fluent in English & Swedish (oral and written)
• Medical, development or academic experience
• Proven previous experience in a field medical position and activities
• Experience from Pharma Industry/healthcare is an advantage
• Experience from medical/healthcare roles where medical communication and external relationship is key
• Strong scientific, medical, research and technical expertise and ability to work across therapeutic areas
• Ability to understand and effectively convey emergent scientific and HEOR data
• Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English.
• Must be able to adapt, organize, prioritize, and work effectively on multifunctional teams in a constantly changing field.
