15+! Novartis has more than 15 launches and line extensions planned within the next 3 years across our 5 franchises in the Nordic Countries. As a part of a successful Nordic Market Access Team this role will be important supporting strategic and operational work related to tendering and pricing.

The pricing manager support pricing and reimbursement activities for all Nordic countries and work with daily pricing tasks. The function is responsible for all major changes in the pricepro system and supports the country pricing managers with price requests coming from global/RE and other countries. Nordic Established Medicines (EM) Portfolio Lead (40% time allocation) is responsible for coordinating all commercial activities related to products in the EM portfolio in the Nordic Countries with the purpose to maintain product integrity and business viability. As the EM portfolio lead, the main objectives are to secure optimal forecasting and pricing of the EM portfolio according to internal pricing guidelines and strategies and to secure optimal price negotiation strategies and outcomes.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Maintain, control and handle all pricing databases and documents/files/contracts related to pricing.
• Responsible for all larger price pro updates (new public prices alignments/verification.
• Responsible for management of global/RE and country price and confirmation requests.
• Development of pricing material across Franchises.
Nordic Established Medicines Portfolio Lead
• Ensure forecast accuracy for EM products in the Nordics, in collaboration with BPA, SCM and Head Market Access, and maintain product forecasts in forecasting tool (Futurcast)
• Act as Nordic commercial point of contact and responsible person for EM portfolio products in the following areas: - Risk Management Plans (RMP) - Portfolio optimization activities (e.g. divestments/prunings, BD&L) - Regulatory commitments (e.g. SmPC updates) - Customer first activities –
• Identify and pursue business opportunities to maximize EM portfolio with special focus on value optimization through e.g. pricing (IRP), tenders, discount agreements etc., in collaboration with country MAx teams

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• University degree in economics, business, science, or mathematics
• English and preferably Finnish or any of the Scandinavian languages
• Min 2-3 year experience in pricing, finance, business or other Market Access related roles
• Good understanding of pharma industry and health care systems.
• Experience in interactions with reimbursement agencies or other health care decision makers and understanding of Pharma product P&R processes
