Execute, and troubleshoot Flow cytometry based laboratory aspects of contract and/or in-house clinical trial projects. Work closely with managers, directors and leadership team. Design and execute laboratory experiments and testing programs, evaluate test data, and prepare associated documentation and reports. Ensure adherence to company policy on patient and client confidentiality.

Your responsibilities:
• May design, create, execute and troubleshoot new procedures and assays.
• Support multi-parameter flow cytometry based Immuno-oncology biomarker development, validation and implementation in clinical trials.
• Procure and qualify required materials to perform experiments or testing.
• Perform instrument maintenance and function tests with proper documentation of all activities.
• May work directly with external vendors to resolve reagent or equipment issues.
• Perform quality control testing and ensure its acceptability.
• Responsible for writing and reviewing technical documents.
• Manage & execute laboratory research and testing of patient specimens under supervision
• Ensure quality standards are met in clinical laboratory testing
• Analyze data for trends making recommendations to more senior scientific staff

Minimum requirements

What you'll bring to the role:
• Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to apply principles, concepts, practices and standards associated with analytical assay development/validation and/or sample testing in a laboratory setting.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of techniques directly applicable to the research services provided by Navigate BP (tissue culture, molecular and cellular biological techniques such as PCR, flow cytometry, IHC, etc.) is strongly preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office
• Meticulous attention to detail, proficient reasoning and problem-solving skills in experimental design, data analysis, verification, manipulation and interpretation
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills
• Ability to operate independently and in a team environment

Desirable requirements:
• MS with a minimum of 2 years of directly relevant Immunology and/or Flow cytometry experience
• BS/BA with scientific emphasis and a minimum of 5 years of directly relevant Immunology and/or Flow Cytometry experience
• A candidate with an Assoc degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience may also be considered.
