As our Head of People Experience Marketing you will be vital to the Novartis global People Strategy: positively shaping, celebrating and amplifying all of our Associate's employee experiences and inspiring every individual to feel ‘unbossed’, to find and achieve their purpose, to be their best selves every day. The moments that matter to our Associates come from their first impression as a job applicant to their lasting memories as Alumni: being inspired and curious, empowered and recognized, and being supported professionally and personally all of their time.

You will create and implement a successful internal marketing strategy that’s meaningful to our Associates and will inspire our culture to be the best it can be every day: developing and launching solutions in a way that lands the People experience alongside marketing existing solutions and benefits to reinforce it.

You will have a key role in the implementation of our People Strategy, working closely with and inspiring leaders and teams across the Enterprise including People & Organization (HR) and other employee support functions such as Communications and IT.

This is a new and significant position for Novartis: you’ll create an internal People Experience Marketing team and hire 2 Marketing Partners that are similarly passionate about our Associates being our customers. Data and analytics will support you to shape the internal marketing plan and measure impact and effectiveness of solutions developed and implemented for the optimum People experience.

What you’ll bring to the role
• University degree in Business, Marketing or Human Resources
• Business/fluent English
• Deep expertise in internal marketing from working within complex matrixed global companies; or working in an international marketing consultancy with large corporations on internal marketing projects where you led from strategy through to successful implementation
• Employee Experience marketing strategy and implementation expertise, planning then delivering significant programs that had demonstrable success with international employees
• Significant experience working at senior levels of international complex organizations with a wide range of leadership stakeholders
• A demonstrable interest in key HR areas including Employee Engagement, People Analytics, Leadership Development, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits
• A creative marketer with proven expertise in the most advanced and innovative approaches to Marketing, Brand management, Customer relationship, Behavioral science, Design thinking, HR trends and creating networks of influencers
• Skilled at using data analytics and best-in-class research to support internal marketing decisions: developing insights, translating these into practical solutions and measuring their impact
• Experience leading and motivating a direct team alongside indirect resources
• Culture design and transformation experience with a focus on change management to successfully implement enterprise wide initiatives
