The Analytics Group within the Global Discovery Chemistry at NIBR is a multidisciplinary group that maintains the technology and expertise necessary to provide innovative solutions to challenging problems in drug discovery at our state-of-the-art facilities in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Analytics Group collaborates with different research groups to comprehensively characterize molecules ranging from traditional small molecules to novel biotherapeutics.

We are looking for a Postdoctoral Scholar to work on the implementation, development and application of advanced NMR techniques for the understanding of structures and interactions of drug molecules, proteins and membranes to gain fundamental understanding of structure property relationship and molecular mechanisms of membrane recruitment. Experience in advanced magnetic resonance theory and solid-state NMR experiments is a requirement. The project will involve advanced solid-state and solution NMR experiments and the Postdoctoral Scholar will be expected to work in close collaboration with medicinal chemists, analytical and computational chemists, biophysicists and other scientists within a drug discovery environment.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant scientific community and collaborate with other postdoctoral fellows mentored by a range of scientists across disciplines and platforms, including chemistry, structural biology, molecular biology, functional genomics, neurophysiology and translational medicine. Postdoctoral scholars at NIBR have a unique opportunity to conduct innovative, interdisciplinary research and are expected to publish their results in leading journals. The postdoctoral term is up to 4 years.
