The Executive Director, Business Insights is a leadership role, embedded within the Respiratory, Cardio, Neuroscience franchises will serve as the franchise’s single point of contact for the Commercial Effectiveness organization to identify business needs, proactively bring insights to the business, and manage service requests. There are openings for each franchise.

This individual will provide both strategic and operational leadership for the design and delivery of patient and physician services within a given franchise. The position will be a member of franchise leadership team and will be accountable for collaboratively working with all stakeholders, with significant focus on ensuring tight alignment with Market Access, Service Leads, Technology Leads and the brand teams. It will have an impact to the US Business franchise peak sales expectations and have a significant amount of internal and external scrutiny.

The Executive Director, Business Insights will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

Bring therapeutic area, disease state and product expertise.

Identify service needs (e.g. analytics, sales force operations, training, and marketing campaigns) and manage ongoing status/quality of service delivery.

Building and managing franchise/function projects that will drive growth and deliver superior strategy and operational excellence across the portfolio of products and services while balancing the need to optimize all investments based on impact across the franchise spend and portfolio of services.

Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape and monitor brand performance for all pipeline and in-market brands; spot portfolio-wide trends or opportunities.

Support the needs of multiple brand launches in the short-term to ensure performance expectations are successfully achieved.

Business Leads will have a direct impact to meet US peak gross sales expectations for each franchise, ranging from $2.42-10.3B, and supporting an average of 3 product launches per franchise

What you'll bring to this role:
Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline required. An advanced degree is a positive; an MBA preferred.

Respiratory experience preferred

Minimum of 10 years of management experience, plus 5 years of Healthcare experience, finance and analytical experience a plus

Demonstrated experience analyzing complex situation and processes and effectively integrating and synthesizing the data to form a complete cohesive picture and actionable insights

Proven self-starter with high standards of excellence and an innovative mind

Demonstrated leadership and expertise in building an organization, demonstrated leadership skills; decision maker, effective problem solver; strategic thinker.

Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and analytical skills

Demonstrated ability to synthesize information to develop recommendations, and ability to persuade / influence organization pursuit of recommended path

Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines

Excels at interacting with a diverse group of people, all levels of management, including senior leadership

Change management and project management experience
