This position will support Executive Director, Data Strategy & Services, in the development and execution of Data Strategy. This position will support the span of work in data across US Oncology, Pharma, and Sandoz in a dynamic environment. As a member of the Data Strategy & Services (DSS) leadership team, the incumbent will play a key role in developing strategy, ensuring agile execution of DSS goals and communication with stakeholders. This will include communication preparation and monitoring as well as reporting on strategic priorities.

• Support Executive Director and Head, DSS in the development and execution of the Data strategy and enablement.

• Develop communication and monitoring plans for key strategic DSS priorities

• Ensure timely communication through the establishment and management of plans and forums (e.g. leadership meetings) where updates on Data Strategy and services are shared with key stakeholders.

• Participate in discussions with Executive Director and Head, DSS related to Data strategy, influencing overall business strategy and decisions within DSS and key stakeholders

• Actively monitor progress against strategy and proactively recommend adjustments to align with overall OBU strategy

• Identify opportunities for alignment with other data and digital initiatives (e.g., ATLAS, DICE)

• Consult regularly with key internal stakeholders on key industry trends and leading practices to identify emerging challenges/opportunities and ideate solutions

• Lead special initiatives for DSS leadership team and represent DSS as delegate for Executive Director and Head, DSS in select activities and committees

• Manage agenda and meeting conduct (including ensuring adequate minutes) of the DSS leadership team and other meetings as indicated

• Support Executive and Head, DSS in preparation for various senior management meetings

• Support DSS alignment with key initiatives and groups external to US OBU (e.g., Pharma, Sandoz, global oncology, IT, PLS)

• Manage communication and gain alignment across DSS teams

• Drive adoption of DSS initiatives and support change management planning

• Support Executive Director and Head, DSS in annual business planning and budget review process

• Manage DSS calendar to ensure appropriate alignment between scheduling and priorities

• Support DSS team leaders as appropriate

This work will require collaboration with many stakeholders, including other SDD teams, PLS, IT, medical, and commercial teams.

Bachelor degree in healthcare or technology field required.
Graduate degree in life sciences preferred.

• 5+ years of related experience working in life sciences industry required
• 5+ years of experience working in matrix organization required
• Prior experience in strategy development and operational deployment required
• Prior experience in IT product development or implementation preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, to be accountable for individual and department results and drive change across functions
• Expertise in building relationships, collaborating, and influencing across a multifunctional matrix organization
• Demonstrated experience in prioritization, organizational and analytics skills as well as the ability to conceptualize more complex issues to seek long-term, sustainable and scalable solutions
• Demonstrated experience in leading and influencing others to achieve organizational objectives.
