Exciting Peer to Peer Marketing Opportunity: The Retina Franchise is looking for highly energized, passionate talent to join what we anticipate will be one of the most impactful launches in the Novartis ophthalmology portfolio.

Do you want to be part of building and launching a brand from scratch in a dynamic retina market-place? How about bringing a brand to market with the potential to impact millions of patients every year?

The Peer to Peer marketer will partner with marketing team and key partners to bring our launch strategies and plans to life through for a successful launch. You will support HCP engagement, advocacy, development and implementation of the peer-to-peer marketing strategy, and plans for speaker programs, congress planning, medical society activities, and HCP advisory boards.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Drive the Medical Expert plan and liaise with key medical experts to identify opportunities for patient care advancement
• Partner with field teams and other key stakeholders such as Legal, Regulatory, Finance and Compliance to ensure flawless execution of all peer-to-peer initiatives.
• Lead Retina conventions and all national meetings, managing the speaker bureau and working with the sales team to identify local and regional medical experts to be considered as speakers
• Identify market insights, trends, opportunities and threats for brand through market research, competitive intelligence, and understanding of disease areas to drive brand value and differentiation, and proposes corresponding measures
• Acts as brand champion to create focus and enthusiasm both internally and with external customers and agencies.

• Education: A bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or related Master’s Degree is preferred.
• 4+ years of Pharma or healthcare experience; 3+ years in US pharmaceutical operational marketing experience required
• Strong customer focus, business/commercial acumen, collaboration, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), time management, planning, organizational, selling and negotiation skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects effectively. Must be fluent English (oral and written)
• Understanding of Ophthalmology therapeutic area or equivalent medical specialty including knowledge of key stakeholders along the continuum of care is preferred
• Travel required (approx. 15-30%).
