Heart Failure is the leading cause of hospitalisation for those aged 65 years and over and has a significant impact on their quality of life. Be part of a team working to help drive better patient outcomes for Heart Failure patients in Ireland.

Devises the brand strategies and leads creation of the brand plans, identifying growth opportunities and developing strategic imperatives to get the right drug to the right patient at the right time. Executes the brand strategies, marketing mix & operational plans to achieve financial objectives. Act as brand champion to create focus, alignment and enthusiasm in the cross-functional brand teams and with agencies.

Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Act as brand champion to create focus and enthusiasm internally and with external customers and agencies.
• Devises the brand strategies and leads creation of the brand plans, identifying growth opportunities and developing strategic imperatives to get the right drug to the right patient at the right time.
• Execute brand strategies, marketing mix and operational plans to achieve financial objectives.
• Identify market insights and practice gaps from customer interactions, market research, competitive intelligence and understanding of disease areas. Quantify impact on business and implement prompt and effective corrective action/solutions plan
• Lead customer initiatives ensuring they are aligned and strengthen relationships with key external stakeholders.
• Listen to and support the customer-facing organisations to develop value added promotional concepts, game changing projects, added value tools and training to gain access to the HCPs.
• Lead development and delivery of promotional campaign materials from insights to review, production and implementation.
• Lead development of the key branding elements of positioning, vision, brand personality, value propositions and messaging.
• Manage effective agency partnerships, ensuring alignment between agencies.
• Monitor product performance, investments and the external environment using appropriate data analysis tools and taking corrective action if required to meet business objectives.
• Manage brand allocated budgets. Manage ROI assessments of tactical programs monitoring and adjust on-going project investments when required
What you’ll bring to the role:

• Degree in Science, Marketing or General Business Degree
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing/sales role, ideally in pharmaceutical industry or similar environment
• Demonstrated track record in managing and executing marketing activities, demonstrated project management execution

Desirable Requirements:

• Additional qualification (or experience) in digital marketing, social media advantageous.
• Advanced communication skills, both verbal & written
• Analytical skills, strong technical abilities & demonstrated passion for new technologies and analytical tools. Demonstration of creative & innovation in problem solving & the formulation of solutions.
• Product launch experience advantageous
• Demonstration of brand planning and strategy
