Job purpose:

To drive sales and create a positive environment across primary and secondary care trusts for the use of Novartis products

The territory for this position is East Anglia and Central London.

Key Responsibilities:

-Achieve sales targets by developing, implementing and monitoring Key Account plans
-Make recommendations to Commercial Business Leaders on account resource allocation to best support Account Plans based on business analysis
-Identify, develop and mobilise KOL’s utilising medical development advisors where appropriate, to support Novartis products in secondary care and PCT’s
-To gain formulary inclusions, positive guideline reviews, endorsement statements or similar outputs that result in positive sales climate for Novartis products in both secondary care and PCT’s
-To develop, maintain and share an excellent standard of specialist knowledge, enabling environmental assessment, intelligence and liaison to facilitate competitive advantage when positioning Novartis products --To comply with appropriate regulations
-To monitor, review and report key metrics and market feedback

The ideal candidate will have:

- Key account planning experience
- Commercial awareness
- Compliance and regulatory knowledge
- Healthcare/ Secondary Care experience
- Proven account planning and/or matrix management experience
- Commercial acumen and awareness
- Analytical skills
- Extensive knowledge of NHS

We announced we will have a new HQ in London; a new state-of-the-art office at The Westworks, in White City. Four business divisions (pharmaceuticals, oncology, Global Drug Development and Novartis Business Services) will be able to come together in one purpose-designed environment.
