This position will support the VP and Head, Strategic Data and Digital (SDD), US Oncology, in the development and execution of SDD strategy. This position will support the span of work in data and digital across US Oncology, in a dynamic environment. As a member of the SDD leadership team, this position will play a key role in developing strategy, ensuring agile execution of SDD goals and communication with stakeholders. This will include communication preparation and monitoring as well as reporting on strategic priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support VP and Head, SDD and the SDD Leadership Team in the development and execution of SDD strategy
- Develop communication and monitoring plans for key strategic SDD priorities
- Ensure timely communication through the establishment and management of plans and forums (e.g., townhalls, leadership meetings) where updates on strategy and operations will be shared with key stakeholders
- Participate in discussions with VP and Head, SDD related to SDD strategy, influencing overall business strategy and decisions within SDD and key stakeholders
- Actively monitor progress against strategy and proactively recommend adjustments to align with overall OBU strategy
- Identify opportunities for alignment with other data and digital initiatives (e.g., ATLAS, DICE)
- Consult regularly with key internal stakeholders on key industry trends and leading practices to identify emerging challenges/opportunities and ideate solutions
- Lead special initiatives for SDD leadership team and represent SDD as delegate for VP and Head, SDD in select activities and committees
- Manage agenda and meeting conduct (including ensuring adequate minutes) of the SDD leadership team and other meetings as indicated
- Support VP and Head, SDD in preparation for various senior management meetings
- Support SDD alignment with key initiatives and groups external to US OBU (e.g., CDO, global oncology, pharma digital, IT, PLS)
- Manage communication and gain alignment across SDD teams
- Drive adoption of SDD initiatives and support change management planning
- Support VP and Head, SDD in annual business planning and budget review process
- Support VP and Head, SDD in recruitment process
- Work across SDD teams to find opportunities for efficiencies and collaboration that will drive success within SDD
- Manage SDD calendar to ensure appropriate alignment between scheduling and priorities
- Support SDD team leaders as appropriate

Bachelor degree in healthcare or technology field required. Graduate degree preferred. Lifesciences Experience of 5+ years.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in life sciences industry required
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in matrix organization required
• Prior experience in strategy development and operational deployment required
• Prior IT product development or implementation preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, to be accountable for individual and department results and drive change across functions
• Demonstrated strong skills in oral and written communication
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate and influence across a multifunctional matrix organization
• Demonstrated prioritization, organizational and analytics skills as well as the ability to conceptualize more complex issues to seek long-term, sustainable and scalable solutions
• Demonstrated experience in leading and influencing others to achieve organizational objectives
