The Disease Area Manager (DAM) is responsible for the development and implementation of tactical plans aimed at optimizing profitability, market share and revenue growth in the assigned Disease Area.
Main Responsibilities:
• Proactively develops marketing and promotional mix to meet brand(s) objectives and customer needs
• Monitors business performance and external environment via appropriate tools to deliver corrective actions in order to meet business objectives
• Liaises with external agencies to deliver initiatives for brand(s)
• Accurately manages budgets for brand(s)
• Creates and delivers operational plans according to the life cycle of each assigned product to optimize profitability
• Delivers sales targets
• Is fully accountable for assigned brand(s) and ensure delivery of all related projects
• Deeply understands and use marketing principles and C4/MPH process to meet customer needs
• Analyzes market trends to develop customer insights through appropriate techniques and tools
• Constantly interacts (remotely or face to face) with Region Europe Headquarters and Global Brand Teams to be aligned on projects/process and to share best practices.
• University degree or equivalent in Science, Marketing or Business qualification
• MBA is preferred
• 3 or more years of experience in product management. Sales representative experience in addition, is considered a plus
• Knowledge of oncology market is preferred
• Scientific Knowledge in the field of biomarkers is preferred
