Your responsibilities:

Enhance the value of Novartis' drug portfolio and in/out-licensing opportunities via leading and developing external alliance agreements.
Value creation by seeking, structuring, negotiating and managing collaborative arrangements with partner companies.
Establish trustful relationships with BD&L people of peer pharma companies.

Major Accountability
• Competent resource to BD&L's internal and external partners to evaluate, negotiate and manage business partnering models
• Contribute to positive outcome of negotiations; make significant deal and negotiation strategy structure recommendations
• Enhance the group's effectiveness in securing value-adding deals
• Take a lead role in preparation and presentation of projects to be reviewed in DLT and DRM
• Major role in challenging and validating strategic and financial rationale of projects
• Forecasting, A&P control, KOL management, promotional materials review and NP3 compliance on EM products
• Quality management responsibility: 
Ensure adequate reporting of adverse events / technical complaint / compliance issue in accordance with company procedures 
100% timely delivery of all training requirements including compliance

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
Education: Degree in Marketing, Finance, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology, related Science, or MBA
Language: Excellent English communication & negotiation skills (oral and verbal)

• 5+ years’ relevant experience in a regulated pharmaceutical company
• First professional experience in project manage-ment, negotiation, business development
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively within the pharmaceutical business
• Experience in working in an international and multidisciplinary environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotia-tion and leadership capabilities
• Excellent analytical ability and strategic thinking
