In this new Product Specialist role, you will be responsible for building relationships with Haematologists in hospitals and private groups, whereby ensuring patients are the forefront of your interactions.

You will deliver accurate and cutting-edge information on our Blood Disorder portfolio, coupled with tailored presentations, to build long-term partnerships. Behind the scenes, you will develop and execute a targeted business plan to realise the best commercial, customer, and patient outcomes. There are plenty of untapped opportunities in this territory and the potential for growth is vast.

You will also:
• Monitor market trends through customer interactions and attendance at meetings and conferences
• Collaborate with colleagues and brand teams to provide feedback from the field on trends and customer feedback and incorporate new strategies into plans and practice
• Manage your territory promotional budget within set targets
• Maintain a high level of product, disease & competitor knowledge
• Utilise company information resources to enhance business insights and maintain a current and complete territory information database
• Provide regular reports on sales and activities to track performance, maintaining accurate documents to ensure Novartis meets its compliance obligations and track performance.
• Report all adverse events within 24 hours!

This role covers the Victoria East territory, which would include Alfred Hospital, Monash University, Austin Hospital, and Cabrini Hospital to name a few.
We’re looking for an experienced sales specialist, with demonstrated experience selling in a hospital environment. You might have sold in Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Pathology, or other science solutions - above all you are confident working in a collaborative team and you have a true passion for this therapy area!

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Medicine, Nursing, Science, Pharmacy, or similar
• Proven ability to understand technical, scientific and medical information
• Experience using CRM systems to prepare and extract data and reports

We expect you will be aware of the content and the application of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct regarding sales activity.
