We are seeking for a highly motivated research associate to join China Novartis Institutes of Biomedical Research. This is an immediate opening for a scientist to join our liver disease research in vivo pharmacology team.

As part of this team, the candidate will be supporting in vivo studies and analyzing samples obtained from the studies. He or she will be responsible for conducting in vivo studies to screen small molecules in pharmacodynamics and efficacy models. The supportive role in evaluation and development of in vivo models, new technologies and biomarkers are also key components of this position. In addition, the candidate will be expected to contribute to experimental design, independent data analysis and interpretation, and generation of inter-nal reports.
MS in pharmacology, biology, biochemistry or cell biology, animal science, or related fields
Business-level oral and written English
At least 5 years of relevant experience. The candidate must have well established hands-on experience with animal models of disease, and/or in vivo pharmacology. Specific expertise in liver diseases or metabolism is a priority, and industry experience is a plus. Additional experience with ex vivo or in vitro assays would be an advantage.
Should have a high degree of flexibility and a willingness and ability to work as a team member. Weekend or after work hours may be required.
