##  Novartis Connect 

Novartis Connect provides alternative options to purchase a Novartis nominated medicine for both patients and hospitals. Novartis Connect is only available for on-label, non-PBS prescriptions.

###  Clinical Trials

###  Government funded medicines 

The Government funds medicines via the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). Under the PBS, the government subsidises the cost of medicine for most medical conditions. Most of the listed medicines are dispensed by pharmacists and used by patients at home. Some medicines need medical supervision to be administered safely (such as oncology medicines) and are only accessible at specialised medical services, usually hospitals.
