In order to find long-term, sustainable solutions to global health challenges, we need to engage in constructive discussions and be transparent about our views. We engage in policy debates and share the company’s perspective on issues including access to healthcare, ethics, R&D and quality of medicines, striving for open and constructive interaction.
As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency, we state our position on key issues affecting our business and of specific interest to our stakeholders. Our Positions Working Group meets quarterly to:
Coordinate a periodic review of the positions landscape based on external stakeholder requirements and expectations
Develop positions plan for approval by the Global Policies & Positions Committee (GPPC)
Facilitate the execution of the GPPC-approved positions plan with position owners
