Seeking all-stars who are looking to gain experience in the Scientific world!

The Summer Undergraduate Internship Program in Emeryville is a paid, 40-hour per week, 10-12 week program for students enrolled at an accredited university. Interns work on a project under the guidance of a NIBR Project Mentor in a variety of laboratory settings in our Emeryville Oncology and Chemistry departments.

NIBR Interns will be on-boarded with a meet/greet luncheon with other intern/mentors! Interns will meet bi-weekly to share experiences, to network and to hear from seasoned professionals within the greater Novartis organization. In addition, interns may work on a project together and present to a research audience at the end of the program. Interns will attend and present at a weekly journal club just for interns. Interns will also have a mid-session check in with their project manager and HR. At the end of the summer, interns will conduct a presentation of their team project and their own project work. Finally, the summer will close with a send-off “good luck” luncheon and a rewarding experience.
